KIDstruction Week 2024

Each year, KIDstruction Week is an opportunity for the St. Louis regional architectural, construction and engineering industries to team up to support St. Louis Children’s Hospital. St. Louis Children’s Hospital is committed to doing what’s right for kids. That means providing family-centered care and exceptional service to every patient, every family, every day.

“KIDstruction week is all about the St. Louis construction market thanking our community by supporting those most in need. It is an unfortunate reality that all children do not get to live happy, healthy lives. We aim to help these kids through the approach of many small hourly contributions adding up to a meaningful donation to St. Louis Children’s Hospital. In St. Louis, we are lucky to have access to amazing healthcare resources such as one of the premier pediatric hospitals in the country, St. Louis Children’s.

Construction is a very family-based business, with many members coming from generations of proud St. Louis builders and tradesmen. I love seeing our industry come together and show the community just how generous and caring St. Louis construction really is.” – Dillon Corr, Senior Project Manager and Kadean KIDstruction Team Captain

Supporting the whole child is vital for not only our 2024 KIDstruction Week Ambassador, Grady, but for all kids receiving care at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Diagnosed with a rare kidney disorder at the age of 2, Grady received specialized care at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. During his treatment, Grady enjoyed enriching activities such as play, music, art, and education – initiatives that are funded and built on donations. These programs are vital to helping young patients manage fear, anxiety, and separation while undergoing care.
