Flags of Valor STL: Commemorating 25 Years Since 9/11

Honoring Service Through Community Engagement and Corporate Responsibility

Kadean Construction honors the legacy of service and sacrifice by supporting the 25-year remembrance of 9/11 through the Flags of Valor St. Louis event led by America’s Heartland Remembers.

From September 5^th through 13^th on Art Hill in Forest Park, 7,620+ American flags stand in honor of the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and every service member who has since given their life fighting the Global War on Terror.  

Kadean’s participation in Flags of Valor STL represents more than corporate sponsorship, it embodies our commitment to preserving the memory of those who served and sacrificed, while supporting the communities that continue to honor their legacy. 

Flags of Valor St. Louis  

America’s Heartland Remembers creates a profound memorial experience with the Flags of Valor every five years. The event features a carefully organized display of American flags, creating a powerful visual tribute that allows visitors to reflect on the magnitude of the loss and the enduring spirit of those who responded with courage and compassion. 

Events like Flags of Valor ensure that younger generations understand the historical significance of this day, while providing those who experienced it firsthand with a space for remembrance and healing. The memorial creates an environment where stories are shared, memories are preserved, and the values of service and sacrifice are celebrated. 

Building Stronger Communities  

Kadean’s support for Flags of Valor St. Louis extends beyond financial contribution. We mobilized our teams to participate in the flag assembly, installation and careful removal of the memorial display. This hands-on involvement reflects our belief that true partnership requires active engagement, not simply transactional support. Our team worked alongside event organizers, volunteers, and community leaders to build a memorial experience that honored the memory of those lost while providing a meaningful experience for attendees. 

Through Kadean’s Beyond Buildings program, we are building an intentional approach to volunteering, giving, and partnerships that support meaningful impact at both local and national levels.
