Medical Office Building Addition at Missouri Baptist Sullivan
Kadean Construction joined BJC HealthCare for a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the commencement of the new $14.6M addition to the Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital Medical Office Building. This milestone event marks the continuation of enhancement of healthcare services for the Sullivan community. Key stakeholders, including hospital administrators, physicians, and local dignitaries attended the ceremony and their speeches underscored the importance of this project for the region.
Project Scope and Features
The state-of-the-art two-story addition to the Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital Medical Office Building will span a total of 17,287 square feet. The expansion will include 18 exam rooms, six physician offices on each floor, data and electrical rooms, and additional break and storage rooms. To enhance the facility’s entrance, a new, wider vestibule with a canopy will provide a modern, efficient, and patient-friendly point of access. Upon completion, the new facility will house a variety of healthcare services, including primary care, pediatrics, and psychotherapy. This will allow for an expanded physician team to improve accessibility and reduce wait times for patients.

Construction Progress and Timeline
The project is currently under construction, following the completion of a multi-phase remodel of the hospital’s Emergency Department by the Kadean team. The construction is meticulously planned to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing hospital operations. Occupancy of the new addition is targeted for early 2026.
